 TOP STORIESAugust 16th, 2009In our first semi-finals game the Rattlers defeated the Marlins 10-2. The Rattlers were led by the pitching and hitting of Tom Baehr. Tom was 2 for 3, 1Db, 2RBI and threw 8 innings giving up only 1 run.The offense was helped by Rob Veros 3 for 4, 2RBI, Bill Hornsberger 1 for 3, 1Db, 2RBI. The Marlins offense was led by James Gibson 2 for 2, and Gordon Newman 2 for 3.
In our second game the Thibodaux Cardinals beat the Cubs 11-5. The Cardinals were led by; Craig Robicheaux 3 for 3, 1HR.,

(continued) 3RBI, Mike Fish 2 for 2, 3RBI, and James Mills 1 for 2, 2RBI. Gwain Roundtree pitched 8 innings giving up only 2 runs in picking up the win. Leading the Cubs were Phil Leblanc 2 for 2, and Steve Schneck 1 for 3, 1HR., 2RBI.
