CUbs win, Cubs win, cubs win

Well, we finally got a break with the weather long enough to play our "Championship Game", and what a game it was. The Victory All Stars came out of the gate early to take a 5-0 lead only to have the Cubs come storming back with 11 unanswered runs to take a commanding lead with the final score of 12-7.

Leading the Cubs offense was Harry Lorio, 3 for 4, Greg Cahill, 2 for 3, 1RBI, and Bart Molay, 2 for 3. The offense was joined by another great pitching performance by Paul Mancuso who had another 9 inning gem, spreading out 9 hits while striking out 14.

Leading the offense for the Victory All Stars were: Lemoyne Howard, 2 for 2, Allen Jones, 2 for 3, and Terry Julien, 2 for 3. Albert Causey, Melvin Howard and Leo Leblanc each had a hit for the All Stars.

 

And so another season is in the books. Hope you had a great season, looking forward to 2011.
